Michael Bloch
Micheal is a Florida-based cyclist whose lifelong love of the outdoors has driven his pursuit of challenging new adventures. Growing up in Florida, the bicycle was his access to freedom, whether to the beach, the lagoon, or anywhere else within a day’s ride. Active in sports, fishing, and outdoor activities throughout his youth, Michael discovered cycling more seriously in adulthood after a weightlifting injury led him into triathlons. He quickly excelled in sprint, Olympic, and 70.3 races, but it was on the bike where he found his true strength.
Focusing his energy on cycling, Michael has built a reputation as a versatile and competitive rider. He has tested himself across every discipline of the sport, from ultra-endurance mountain bike races such as the TNGA to iconic single-day races like the Leadville 100. His achievements include winning the Florida State Time Trial Championship, securing a top 50 overall finish at Unbound 200, and consistently landing on podiums at criteriums and road races throughout the Southeast.
Michael proudly represents the Cowboy Cyclist Racing Team and Scarborough Bicycle Accident Law, finding community with teammates who share his passion for sport, friendship, and challenge. Beyond the bike, he works in physical operations for a gasoline trading company and enjoys saltwater fishing, waterfowl hunting, camping, cooking, and time outdoors. He especially values adventures with his teammate and partner, Caitlin, and her son, often turning race weekends into multi-day excursions to explore new places, connect with people, and embrace all that life has to offer.
